If you’re searching for holistic, whole-person mental health care in Louisville, you’ve found it. Bliss Progressive Psychiatry offers trauma-informed psychiatry, integrative treatments, ketamine therapy, and hormone health — treating the full picture, not just the symptoms.
Sadly, Serenity Health KY closed its doors in January 2024, leaving hundreds of individuals without the life-saving care they had received there. If you’re a former Serenity Health patient — or are new to seeking trauma-informed mental health care — and are looking for ketamine infusion options in Louisville or Kentuckiana, welcome. You’re in the right place.
I’m Mandy Bliss, a double board-certified family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Prior to opening Bliss Progressive Psychiatry, I was the lead clinician at Serenity Health KY. With Bliss Progressive Psychiatry, I’ve created a patient-centered, trauma-informed mental health practice offering holistic and integrative treatments, ketamine therapy, general psychiatry, and menopause hormone therapy.
My extensive experience working with ketamine — including staying current on ketamine training and ketamine-centered research — allows me to provide a compassionate, advanced, evidence-based alternative to Serenity Health KY. I collaborate closely with several Kentuckiana trauma therapists to provide a team approach to care.
I include ketamine infusions as a treatment option, specializing in PTSD treatment in Louisville. I serve a wide variety of clients, among them veterans, first responders, nurses, therapists, physicians, LGBTQ+ individuals, tech professionals, and college students, to name just a few. I offer ketamine treatments for complex trauma, treatment-resistant depression, and anxiety. No one size fits all: I work with each client to create a personalized treatment plan, taking into consideration personal preferences, past medical and mental health history (including medication side effects), and long-term goals.
I do not offer Spravato or TMS treatment, but my expertise ensures high-quality care for conditions like trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety. Importantly, my professional network allows me to refer clients to other providers when needed — no gatekeeping.
Come learn how I’m advancing mental health care in Kentuckiana in ways that are unique to this area. Contact me to learn more about my depression treatment options and how I support each of my clients with whole-person, head-to-toe care — including veterans with PTSD, women with complex PTSD, first responders with anxiety, healthcare professionals with burnout, and LGBTQ and BIPOC folks seeking creative, compassionate, trauma-informed care.
